Baked goat's cheese with walnut honey on salad
Warm goat's cheese baked on toast, with honey with walnuts, on a fruity salad. A light dinner or starter in a quarter of an hour.

The walnuts are already in the honey, so you just spoon it over the warm cheese. You'll need about 90 g of honey.

Ingredients
- 200 ggoat's cheese log, cut into 4 thick slices
- 4 slicesbaguette
- 1 clovegarlic
- 150 gmixed salad leaves or rocket
- 1pear (in autumn) or 150 g strawberries (in spring)
- 3 tbspolive oil for the dressing
- 1 tbspbalsamic vinegar
- 1 tspmustard
- 1 tsphoney for the dressing
- 80 ghoney with walnuts for the top (about 4 tbsp)(Honey with walnuts)

Method

Toast the baguette slices and rub them with the garlic.

Put a slice of cheese on each, drizzle with a little oil, and bake at 200 °C for 6–8 minutes, until the cheese softens and takes on a little colour.

Meanwhile, shake the dressing ingredients together, and toss the salad and fruit slices in it.

Place the warm cheese toasts on the salad.

Just before serving, spoon over the honey with walnuts and grind over some pepper.
