1. Identity of the data controllers

The two registered small-scale farmers run the apiary together and process personal data jointly and for the same purposes. You may submit a data protection request to either of them; they handle it jointly.

The Controller is committed to protecting personal data and carries out all of its activities in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the applicable Hungarian legislation.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

3.1. Storage necessary for operation

Our website does not use cookies. In your browser's local storage (localStorage) we only remember your cookie settings, so that you don't have to set them again on every visit.

3.2. Visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics)

If you consent in the cookie settings, we use the Vercel Web Analytics service to compile anonymous visitor statistics: we can see how many visits there were, which pages were viewed and where visitors came from. This helps us adapt the website to our visitors' needs.

The service does not use cookies. It distinguishes individual visitors by an encoded identifier (hash) derived from the browser's request, which is automatically deleted after 24 hours. The statistics are anonymous: they cannot be linked to you or to your IP address.

• Data processed: the address of the page viewed, the referring page, the time of the visit, the approximate geographical location (country, region, city), the device type, and the type and version of the operating system and browser
• Purpose: Visitor statistics, improving the website
• Legal basis: Voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Measurement only starts after you have given your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the footer of the home page; measurement then stops immediately.
• Retention period: The identifier used to distinguish visitors is automatically deleted after 24 hours; after that, only anonymous aggregate statistics that cannot be linked to you remain
• Processor: Vercel Inc., the website's hosting provider (for its contact details and the details of data transfers, see section 4)

3.3. Marketing cookies

We currently do not use marketing cookies. We do not display advertisements on our website and do not carry out remarketing. Should we ever introduce such cookies in the future, we will ask for them separately in the cookie settings, and they may only be used with your explicit consent.

4. Hosting

The website is served by Vercel Inc. When you open the site, your browser sends the server the data technically necessary for it to work. Vercel processes this data to serve the website and keep it running securely – for example, to filter out denial-of-service attacks – and logs it for a short time. We do not link this data to any other data and do not use it to identify visitors.

• Data processed: IP address, the address of the requested page, the browser type, the time of the request
• Purpose: Serving the website and keeping it running securely
• Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): keeping the website functional and secure
• Retention period: Depending on the hosting plan, Vercel keeps the logs for a maximum of 30 days
• Processor: Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States of America)
• Data transfer: The data may be transferred to the United States of America. Vercel participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, also applies standard contractual clauses.

5. Data processing for enquiries and orders

Our website has no contact form and no online shop. The shopping list you can put together on the product pages does not send us any data: its contents exist only in your browser until you close or reload the page, and only reach us if you send it from your own email program. When you contact us by phone or email, or place an order, we process the following data:

• Data processed: name, email address, phone number, content of the message and, if you request home delivery, the delivery address
• Purpose: Answering your enquiry, keeping in touch, fulfilling and confirming your order
• Legal basis: Voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR)
• Retention period: Until your enquiry is closed, for a maximum of 2 years
• Recipients: The data is handled only by our own staff and is not passed on to third parties

8. Data security

The Controller declares that it applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that personal data is processed securely and protected to an appropriate level. Our measures protect the data in particular against unauthorised access, alteration, transfer, disclosure, deletion or destruction, as well as against accidental destruction and damage.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

The Controller reserves the right to amend this policy. We will inform our visitors of any changes via the website. Please review this page from time to time so that you always have up-to-date information about our data processing practices.
